However we are in the chapter about the sun And it tries to explain light and colors and how the sun Isn't really orange. My son was lost.. And I am clueless As to how to explain it to him. Don't tell him, show him. Pick up some prisms and allow him to goof around with them. Let him discover on his own that they make rainbows and then discuss when/where he is able to make rainbows. He will pick up that it only happens in direct light, and that will give you the opportunity to remind him about what you read in Apologia. Fun stuff! Play with prisms, magic school bus is great, we enjoy Bill Nye and the Light& color episode.
