Nestof3
Yes, I know most of you probably already do this. Saturday, I bought groceries for a week's worth of meals. I have tried to use my crockpot as much as possible as well. It has really helped my week go more smoothly. I'm not usually so heavy on the beef, but I was/am eager to try out some recipes. Sunday spaghetti and salad Monday French dip beef sandwiches sliced apples and nectarines http://allrecipes.com/recipe/easy-slow-cooker-french-dip/detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=french%20onion%20dip%20beef%20sandwiches&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=%2fmy%2frecipebox%2fdefault.aspx (Note -- I was not a huge fan of the beer in it. I will add more pepper and some worcestershire sauce next time.) Tuesday Leftover sliced beef on hoagie rolls with cheese sauteed onions, green peppers, mushrooms Sliced apples and nectarines Wednesday Cubed steaks with gravy (cooked in crockpot) boiled potatoes, broccoli Thursday Sea bass rice pilaf, broccoli Friday Slow-cooker beef stroganoff french green beans http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-beef-stroganoff-i/detail.aspx Saturday Pancakes (with pecans and blueberries on the side) Turkey bacon scrambled eggs
Karen in CO
I'm glad it is working for you. My life would be impossible if I didn't do this.

jelbe5
Yum! Now that the weather is cooling down I am ready to think of soups! Time to dust off my crock-pot. Thanks for the inspiration!
sparrow
It's such a simple thing, yet it makes a HUGE difference. I need to be a little better about our meal plans, now that the kids' activities have ramped up for fall.
Halcyon
I'd never done it before, either, before subscribing to Fresh20. Life is SO EASY now. And I don't even have to choose the recipes LOL.
Shellers
I love having a weekly menu! I like not having to run to the grocery store a few times a week. My DH loves looking at the menu and knowing what's for dinner. I think having a weekly menu eliminates a lot of stress and saves money. DianeW88
I am a die-hard menu planner. My house would not run smoothly if I didn't. And my grocery bill would be through the roof! Plus, it gives me that illusion of control. :D
