hollyh
My daughter is flying through her water color paper. Is there a place to buy it in bulk? What paper do you use?
Tap
Dick Blick If they have a 'Dick Blick student' quality, that is what we use. I don't remember and it is put away upstairs for me to go look right now.
Perry
My daughter is flying through her water color paper. Is there a place to buy it in bulk? What paper do you use? Most newspapers will give you free or very cheap "end rolls" that have hundreds or thousands of square feet on them. Not water color paper, but for a 5 year old it should be fine... plath
:bigear: we go through watercolor paper like crazy, too. Newsprint wouldn't work for us for painting- too many holes when you get it wet.

DianeW88
I buy mine from Miller Pads & Paper. They've always been very reasonable. http://www.millerpadsandpaper.com/

happi duck
Our Target had pads of watercolor paper and other art supplies on clearance. Often all the store do their markdowns on the same schedule.
birchbark
I was just researching this and found a great deal on bulk 140lb Strathmore paper at Paper Scissors Stone (scroll down).
songsparrow
Our local craft stores - AC Moore and Michaels - constantly offer 40-50% off coupons online. And AC Moore had big watercolor pads on sale for $5.77 last fall; I picked up a bunch!
