Hoggirl
I bought a jar of organic raw honey for a muffin recipe. So, the muffins are now in the oven - do I need to refrigerate the remaining honey or is it okay to store it at room temperature? I can't seem to find any indication on the jar. I have always stored my "regular" honey in the pantry. TIA!

Even if you put water in it that can make it spoil but pure honey doesn't.
Melissa in Australia
in the pantry. If you put it in the fridge it well not flow as well, and may even crystallize

kubiac
I once read that honey is the one food that never spoils. It can crystallize or ferment, but it won't "rot" in the traditional sense.
