blondeviolin
I know this has been discussed here before. I know some want to shield their young children from what happened until a time they are more mature. I feel that I need to introduce the basics to my oldest this year. Anyone know of a book or website or whatever that can help me do that?
loulou belle
My 5th grader loves this book: http://www.abcurtiss.com/graphics/books2/l_chapel/little_chapel1.htm There is a reading guide here, but I did not use it: http://americanhistory.si.edu/ourstory/pdf/sept11/sept11_reading.pd This is a great book that explains 9/11 to a child. http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-September-11th-Answering-Questions/dp/0670035874/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347369148&sr=8-1&keywords=understanding+september+11th
