BugsMama
Will this be okay for basic information if I get just the student books, or just the teachers book? I was thinking of using the physics book with other science kits, so i don't think I want to do their labs.... Its just SO expensive! Any suggestions for a study in forces, motion, simple machines and matter for elementary school?
mschickie
We are doing the Physics book right now. You could just use that without the teachers guide. We only use the teachers guide for the labs which are very good so far.
airforcefamily
We've just read the text before with chemistry and biology but are doing the full physics now. It feels complete, just the text is kind of skimpy and it doesn't sink in well without the labs. Just curious, what experiments did you find to be too expensive? I haven't noticed a big expense with any of them.
BugsMama
I didn't mean the labs were expensive- getting all three books for 10 weeks of materials is expensive ;). Maybe I'm back to the drawing board with this one.
