Alison in KY
IF you have VL, we're on 5B and stuck. Keep in mind, I do not know latin, my son is taking it. So, on questions 12, 15, and 16, I don't understand the answers. Can someone with the program explain it to me so I can tell my son. For all you latin pro's, we are given words with diff. endings and are supposed to tell which case they are. For aqua, it says dative and ablative, but it looks like from the table we have that it should be nominative and ablative. For aquis what are the cases? And for zebra? Thank you Alison
5LittleMonkeys
Aquis can be dative or ablative. Zebra can be nominative or ablative. Aqua can be nominative or ablative. I believe the answer key showing agua as dative is a misprint. I've not had that confirmed by the folks at VL though.
Alison in KY
Thanks. Everything you answered is how we thought it should be. I guess they are just mistakes in our key.
