Internet portal - capitalizing on internet purchases for a non-profit group

Recommended Posts

Some one told me that there are companies that run internet portals. You register with the portal company which has access to hundreds of websites. When it is time to place an order, if you access the company through the portal, then your non-profit group gets a certain percent of the purchase.

For example, if I wanted to order curtains from JC Penney, I would acces the JC Penney website from the portal, and then place my order with JC Penney. The non-profit would then get a 1% kickback of my curtain purchase.

Does anyone know anything about this? Our school booster club would like to set this up to capitalize on internet orders made by parents of the school, but I have no idea how to google that.

Does anyone know what I am talking about?? Any referrals?
