Windows Media Player and websites

Recommended Posts

My computer has Windows Media Player, which works just fine for playing things already on my computer. When I go to websites that require it for some video, though, they always want me to download it onto my computer. Since I already have it, I don't want to download it again. Also, I don't know if the new version will come with malware or something. What do you do when this happens?
