SorrelZG
I have the old (original?) edition ... would much be gained by upgrading it to the newest (3rd) edition? Is anyone familiar with both? Unfortunately my library only has the same edition I do.

tomandlorih
Our homeschool moms book group went through this book last year and 2 of our ladies had the new version. It was much bigger than my old version and they had added enough content so as to make it difficult for the ladies with the new version to find and read what those of us with the old version were reading. I cannot offer an opinion as to whether it would be worth the money to upgrade.. only that it was expanded (added content) and still a wonderful book well worth having. =D Hope this makes sense since it is 1am.. lol Lori
skeeterbug
I only have the new one. It has over 100 pages more than the old edition. Here is a link to an old blog post from the author describing the changes. (They were doing a giveaway when the new edition was first published.) I think it is worth it, but again I only have the new one. The authors are so much more experienced in homeschooling and encouraging other families now. SorrelZG
Thank-you for that link. Perhaps I can get down to the consignment store at some point and look at one there. Surely they would have one.
