I recommend this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000IXMP6Q/ref=mp_s_a_16?pi=SL75&qid=1346976857&sr=8-16

I much prefer the sturdy case to the box the either sets come in.

This set also includes the student guide.

Ooooh-la-la! Yes, definitely buy this. It's totally awesome! If I had to start all over with Snap Circuits, this would be a no-brainer!

We have this one but one step smaller. It comes in the same box and you can get an expansion pack to make it the 750 model later. It came with the student guide that was mentioned. I got it off amazon, it was around $80 so not quite as big of a commitment as the $120 set.

I got that one and bought the 'battery eliminator' separately so we wouldn't have to fiddle with batteries. The case had a spot for it, even though it didn't come with it. It's very nice to have everything tucked away. I posted about it with pictures of what we got and the options out there if you are interested.

:iagree: We bought the battery eliminator also. :001_smile:

We have 3-4 sets and ds10 really enjoys them.

Instead of the case, though, we store them in a plastic bin. Every time we get a new set it gets put in with the others. The manuals just lay on top inside. ;)

BTW, the Green snap circuits was a lightening deal with Amazon last xmas. Watch for it again just in case.

That's the one we have. My DS6 adores Snap Circuits. I think I'll get that battery eliminator. I wonder if the book that comes with ours is the book everyone is talking about? What's the difference?

I want to find some other fun stuff for him to do also, but haven't figured out alternatives.
