Mom-ninja.
I'll make a poll so it's easier to see the results.
elegantlion
I didn't think I would like the Roget's, but I do. I use it a lot in my own writing. We call it the row-gets thesa-u-are-us just for fun.
Mom-ninja.
That's the one I'm leaning toward but I've heard people say how much they like the Synonym Finder.
Parrothead
We prefer an online thesaurus.

angela in ohio
Synonym Finder all the way. I taught my kiddos to use Roget's, in case they ever need to, but for everyday, they use the Synonym Finder. It makes it so much more pleasant, and so they look words up more often. Of course, oldest usually just uses an online thesaurus anymore, because she is writing things on the computer. And 75% of the time, they all just ask, "Mom, what's another word for ____ ?" What is the difference between them? How and why is The Synonym Finder more pleasant?
Unicorn.
I can't stand Roget's. Can never find what I need. Love, love, love The Synonym Finder! Although, pp's are right. Online is the easiest.
Cinder
We have the Synonym Finder but no one uses it. We tend to go straight to Merriam-Webster online. ETA: I voted other.
