watertribe Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 We only did Critical Thinking 1 last year (rather than 1 & 2 as suggested in TWTM), but for this year I'm thinking of doing the Art of Argument. Does anyone think it's better/necessary to do CT2 first ? I've also read here that some people just buy the TE for AoA and can do without the student edition. Do you copy pages for your child or just oversee their work (covering up answers)? Thanks! Quote
lewelma Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Does anyone think it's better/necessary to do CT2 first ? We started with AoA and my ds loved it. You do NOT need to do critical thinking first. I've also read here that some people just buy the TE for AoA and can do without the student edition. Do you copy pages for your child or just oversee their work (covering up answers)?Yes, we just bought the TE. We do it together orally, so I just cover the answers with my hand. If you child is doing it independently, I think the student could just cover up the answers with a piece of paper (or use a large sticky note) and just slide it down to check answers . I photocopy the quizzes and tests at the end of the book so ds can write on them. Ruth in NZ Quote
