eloquacious
http://www.meadonline.com/Products/EarlyWriting.aspx I've seen them at Target and Wal-Mart. We didn't love the big Preschool Workbook, partly because it was black and white, but mostly because of the flaw that any such "big" workbook has: it presents a sequence of tasks for some idealized kid. That being said, we LOVE the Problem Solvers, Math Builders, and the fine motor skills stuff: Shape Builders (learn to draw with shapes), Path Quest, Connect With Color (dot to dots with colors instead of numbers or letters) and Snip It (a scissor skills book). I don't really love the handwriting books or the language arts stuff, but I can see how they might work nicely if your child wasn't far ahead in reading and behind in fine motor skills. At any rate: the math and logic workbooks are particularly nice, much better than most of what I've seen in stores, esp. the School Zone workbooks. EmmaNadine
I agree. We're using the Shape Builders one right now, and he really enjoys it.
blondeviolin
My kids' favorite was the Snip It one. It made a big mess with bits of paper everywhere, but at least I didn't have to do the glue/paste/strip thing. It was all predone!
