Catherine Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Between moving a child to college in another state, multiple successive visiting family members, me working an extra day as a favor (I was on a dead run for 13 hours yesterday-whew!), and seeing an AWESOME production of All's Well that Ends Well today, we have postponed the start of school for far too long. Life seems like it will be such a cakewalk this year. I am homeschooling only one child. He is not as challenging as some of them (whose names shall not be mentioned ahem), I have 2 fewer people in the house this year, everyone's a year older, etc. But I'm intimidated. I have no idea why. I'm afraid I'm failing my kids and I've never felt that way before. I was frankly humbled by the college application process. This kid has SO MUCH character and he is so full of life. I don't want to shortchange him in terms of his education. Please think of us. I don't even know why.
