amyrobynne
Should I bother or skip it? My 3rd grader was excited to start cursive. I bought Queen's Pictures in Cursive. He sailed through the vowels then freaked out when he couldn't make perfect B's. I'm thinking that a program that starts with the simple letters might be better for him. But can I make do with just the student book and where's the cheapest place to get it if I'm not getting a bunch of other stuff to save on shipping? ALB
We are using it without the TM and its been fine. There are little bits of instruction on the top of the page when learning a new letter, and that has been enough so far. I think we got it from Rainbow, but not sure if that's the cheapest. Jay3fer
I haven't bought any of the the TG's and we've been okay so far. I know there's a bit more theory with the cursive, but really, just following the workbook in order - they're taught that way for a reason - is half the key to this program. Jess4879
I found the beginning pages useful to read through. There are some tips on teaching and some little stories you can use if your student struggles with certain letters. That being said, after I read the first few pages, I never open the TM again. Ever. I don't find the TM for any of the levels to be at all useful for lessons.
