proudmamma
I am hoping for a really quick answer here! I started this year using an ancient history curriculum that I'm not completely satisfied with....:/ We are just beginning and so I am wanting to jump ship quickly (tonight, lol) and switch to TOG year 1. My question is, do I have to begin in week 1 (egypt), or can I start in week 4 (creation) and go forward till I come to egypt and then do week 1? It seems like in the classic version they gave you that choice but that was years ago and I no longer own it. So does anyone know if the redesign gives that option. If so, has anyone done it that way with success?
joyfulmomSDG
Hi! Yes, the intro section to TOG Y1 actually says that you can adjust the weeks to do weeks 4-6 then 1-3 after them. That's what we have done & are now in week 7. It has worked out really well for my LG set...we are loving this year of history with TOG by the way! :001_smile: HTH! proudmamma
Oh, thank you! One other quick question, do you know if I purchase the DE version tonight, will I get to download it immediately, or will I have to wait till tomorrow for some kind of key? joyfulmomSDG
I'm not absolutely positive, but I think it may be an instant thing. From what I remember, the download center walks you through each step and authorizes 1 computer. If you need other pc's to access DE...laptops, etc... (we did for our 9th grader at the time) you can send a request to tech support. Maybe someone else knows for sure??
