AvasMom Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 How do you know when it's been long enough and how much to push it? I sprained my ankle hiking a month ago and it hasn't been hurting. I started going without my wrap last week and it's been ok. Today I tried running. I did wear my wrap. My stride was just awkward. I had to heel strike on that side because it hurt a little to have that bend in my foot that a normal stride has. So I had this weird, gimpy thing happening. I only did 1 minute intervals and quit when it got sore...maybe 6 intervals. Is that pretty appropriate? Too much? Too little?
