momma2three Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 I love it. Start with the Reception year, which is kind of for advanced preschoolers (they start school at 4 in England). It's both very gentle and amazingly deep. Follow along with the teacher's guide, but keep in mind that the script is designed to be used in a classroom, where you want the teacher to call on all the students to make sure they all understand the concepts. redsquirrel Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Oh, I heart MEP reception! We had such a nice start to math. I get all warm and fuzzy thinking about it. No, really! We did MEP reception 5X a week staring in September, and we were done by... late November? Honestly, I think it would have been fine doing it 3X, but my son liked it so much that he asked to do it every day. In January we started MEP 1, and did that for the rest of our school year.
