lynn Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Never take best bud or older brothers along when you want your 8 year old to pick out new sneakers:glare::w00t::willy_nilly: Big brother likes ugly shoes that are in and friend just picks the priceyest things ont he shelf. It was buy one pair get other 1/2 off so I got a good buy but a huge headache. Then checking out ds and friend started playing around and big brother forgot he was keeping an eye on my 2 year old. Hmm 15 years of mom experience and I still haven't learned. My bad. Quote
crazycoffeechic Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Oh believe me, we learned that when we went shopping for dss shoes! They were HORRIBLE!!! I told ds that he will NEVER go shopping for shoes with dss, maybe for clothes, but not shoes!:001_huh: Quote
WTMCassandra Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I measure their feet and take me, myself, and I to the store! I figure I can always bring them back if I need to. If I don't know the size, I've been known to get two different sizes. I'd rather try them on my children at home, and I generally know their taste. I just avoid taking children to the store altogether if I can. Quote
