Baseballmom
I am taking 12 kids to pizza and a baseball game for my son's 9th birthday. I have the parents dropping the kids off at a pizza place in town. I have the pizza scheduled for 6:00, because I am sure some of the kids won't be there at exactly 5:30. So what do I do with the kids between 5:30 and 6:00. I don't want them running around the restaurant. There are pool tables and a few arcade games, but with 12 kids, quarters will go fast a furious. What can I do with these kids. I am starting to freak out. Dorothy
jmgconner
Help color/decorate a big birthday card, play a game (Jenga, Bingo, the Dot Game, Tic-Tac-Toe, etc.), blow up balloons (do you have a small private party-room? they could help decorate it). chickenpatty
Split them into small groups (tables?) and give them pen & paper and play Win, Lose or Draw (at least, I think that is what it is called. Or give each group playdough to shape instead of drawing? Give them word searches, with a prizes for the fastest finders? Write the birthday boy's full name and see who can create the most words using letters from his name. Prizes can be a simple as a candy bar. Good luck!:001_smile:
SnowWhite
Play "Heads Up Seven Up", "Telephone/Gossip"... You'll be surprised how fast the thirty minutes goes. You could also change the pizza time to 5:45 and let the kids eat who are there on time. Those who come after that deserve cold pizza, ROFL. Baseballmom
Thanks a bunch! I am going to have the pizza ready at 5:45. Then we will play the game with the birthday boy's name. I am going to give quarters for prizes so they can play video games after the other game. I feel much better. Thanks again, Dorothy
