jujsky
New Furbies are coming out in September. I just preordered them for the kids for Christmas. I had one of the original ones (they came out right after I graduated college). I'm not sure what I think about the LED eyes because the originals had beautiful eyes, but I do like the fact that the new Furbies have an evil mode :001_smile: Here's the funniest review/news link I found on them so far: http://gizmodo.com/5937402/the-new-furby-review-absolute-horror I loved my original Furby. DH hated him. It freaked my dog out and he eventually ate him, much to DH's relief and amusement.
myfunnybunch
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! My dd's were in love with Furby. MIL indulged them, so they had, like, a million of those creepy little creatures. I can't stand them. Cat
thebarefootamazon
I had a Furby when they first came out. The thing was CREEPY. I ended up hiding it in my closet. I'm sure my mom was pleased that the expensive little bugger spent more time in my closet than being played with.

Lolly
I absolutely despised Furby. I cannot believe they are reintroducing it. I think the new eyes are absolutely creepy. Yuck.:D:tongue_smilie:

*Michelle*
A woman I worked with back then was obsessed with her Furbies. Seriously. They were the only things she would talk about for weeks after she got them. Any passing interest I had in the things was firmly extinguished by her mania. Thanks for the heads-up on Furby 2: The New Breed. I need to make sure the kids never get wind of them. :D
lynn
Did not know anything about them until now.
