goldberry
I have set up a spreadsheet to track hours for high school. What I would like to do is link the hour cell to another cell where I can enter a description. But I don't want that description cell to show up all the time, only when I hover over the hour, or otherwise select it. I don't want to hide and unhide columns each time either. I have seen this done, but can't figure out how to do it. I also can't figure out the right words to search for this to get any kind of answer. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can help me? Thanks!
goldberry
I like that...but what if I did ever need to print or show the comment in the form? OK, I see that I can SHOW the comment in view, but what if I needed to print it for records or something?

You can print with the comments, as described here: http://www.contextures.com/xlcomments01.html#Printing
