Abeille
I miss being in school. I was accepted into nursing school, then dh got a job out of state and I had to give up my spot. :crying: I hope to go back someday, but I've been in a funk ever since the move. In hopes of shaking it off, I've decided to do something for myself and take an online course with Coursera . The courses are free, and the offerings look challenging. For this semester, I signed up for A History of the World Since 1300, and next semester I'm taking an introductory physiology course (to help me remember what I learned in A&P :D ). Anyone else taking courses this semester?
KRG
No, but I saw it on TedTalks awhile back. I think it is a great idea!
Carrie12345
No. :( I dabbled with a few this summer. LOVED the sociology and finance professors! But I just can't schedule regular time to sit down and give it the attention it needs. Maybe if dh had normal-person hours, but that's not going to happen. On the plus side, my kids should all be old enough to leave me alone for a while by the time Coursera works out all the kinks and really gets rolling! :)
