ksr5377
:glare:We're all set to be in FL next week and apparently Isaac has the same idea. Thankfully we don't have reservations as we were to be staying with friends, now they think they may be evacuated. Anyone have any good Plan B's? We're thinking if they're evacuated of meeting somewhere north, Savannah maybe? Our kids will be sad if they miss the beach, but even more upset if we don't see our friends. This is the FOURTH time a hurricane will have impacted vacations of mine. 2 cruises, 1 resort in the Dominican and now this. You would think I would have learned to not plan to travel during hurricane season, right?
Starr
You might want to look at the projected area of the storm as it draws closer. Hurricane in Florida could be major rain and wind in GA. I would make a couple of back up options. Maybe it will just head off to sea. :grouphug:

ksr5377
Oh, I just saw that! Maybe it'll just be raining and we can find a hotel with an indoor pool for something fun to do!
Serenade
We're going to Florida on Sunday. Well, we think we're going. We have reservations at a Hampton, and we can cancel up until 6 pm that day. So glad I didn't make ressies with Priceline...

Truscifi
They keep shifting the forecasted track farther west every day, so it may just be rain here on the west coast. If you are going to the east coast you may be okay. Although it is hard to tell, the forecast is not always accurate.
