Anyway, I wanted to pass this on: Nic Bishop is a photographer who has several books out with marvelous photographs - they're great for exploring more about the Kingfisher 1st Animal Encyclopedia articles that WTM suggests using for 1st Grade Science. Right now my public library has his books on: Lizards Butterflies and Moths Marsupials Frogs Spiders, and Secrets of Animal Flight These are really cool books - whether you want to search for them through interlibrary loan or buy them.
