I do have to say, though, that if your midwife and your doctor waited until you'd had 5 miscarriages before they started worrying about a physical cause, I think it's way past time for you to get a new doctor and a new midwife. I had one miscarriage and my doctor (at that time) said that after the second one, he'd start looking for a problem. :glare: Ummm... no thanks, Dr. Sympathy. :angry: Time for a new doctor. I went to a high risk pregnancy specialist when I became pg the next time, and my new doctor went above and beyond the call of duty to try to ensure both my health and my ds's. (And FWIW, I definitely would have miscarried again if not for my new doctor and his excellent care, caution, and advice. I totally credit him for my being able to give birth to my ds.) I find it sickening that medical personnel can play so fast and loose with your heart, by making you go through 5 miscarriages before they took it seriously. I am so very sorry you've had to go through all of this, but please, please, please find the best possible high risk pg specialist so that maybe you won't have to go through this heartache again. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: and prayers coming your way.
