moonlight
What can you all tell me about The Private Eye? I can't quite figure it out from the website and didn't find much on a search here either. I see that people recommend it. How do you implement it? Thanks! Irishmommy
I just order it for this year. I am excited about it. As far as I can tell it is supposed to teach the students how to examine things in a new way. By seeing something magnified the student can focus more attention to details that they would possibly miss without the little loop. That is my impression. I think it could have a far reaching affect, in writing, observation, science, everything. That is what I am hoping anyway!

Monica_in_Switzerland
What is the website. I keep getting adds for private eyes! The Private Eye Took me a few searches too, after I heard the talk about this program last week. :D I ordered it for the science coop I'm teaching. I think it looks fantastic! A good way to integrate science and the creative arts.

Plus, she has lots of helpful tips. http://aprivateeyenature.blogspot.com/ Thank you for this link! I bought The Private Eye to use this school year, but I've been so busy that I haven't worked out plans for exactly how I'll use it. This blog looks like a great resource for ideas!
