Ancients History Curriculums

Both are great! SOTW is a better intro. for the younger crowd (K-4th/5th) and I prefer MOH for grades 5-8. MOH has more of an emphasis on Bible and church history than SOTW, but SOTW does have some. Another consideration is that SOTW is designed for a 4 year rotation and MOH only has three volumes currently. Volume 4 has been in progress for quite some time and I don't believe a release date is available.

In our home we use Biblioplan ancients. This is a curriculum with a planning schedule that schedules both SOTW and MOH readings. It adds literature selections as well.

I'm on my second rotation with Biblioplan. I've had a younger and older student both times. I do the SOTW suggestions with my little one and have the older one also do the MOH. We pick and choose from the selected literature.
