profmom
It may seem obvious, I guess -- reorganize the school room, schedule lessons..., but what part of your school prep or what else gives you that I'm-ready-to-go feeling at the beginning of the school year? What if, hypothetically, you ran out summer before doing everything you wanted to do to prepare? What are your must-dos?
merry gardens
Fixing up the classroom (tidying, re-organizing, repairing, cleaning...) and ordering books.
kb44
We never stop! We school year round, and I just adjust/change instruction, as needed. Sometimes we just take a break, when we are feeling frustrated, burned out, and then get back into it feeling so much better Enjoy your new year! sparrow
We're year 'rounders, too, but we're typically starting something new in the fall. Honestly, the change in the sunlight outside gets me started organizing and nesting, both in our home school and our home.
