*anj*
Dh just borrowed this dvd from the library. It says it's "The classic series that lead to the creation of Monty Python" and it features (naturally) Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, et al. Is anyone familiar with this? :001_smile:
Jenny in Atl
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Do-Not-Adjust-Your-Set/dp/B0009U5CCC Here are some reviews. I don't remember seeing these. Must be pre-MP. hths!
I talk to the trees
We have it, and yes! It's fine for young ones, IMO. Just be prepared for a lot of slapstick humor (in the "How to Eat" sketch, for example), and remind the kids that it's not okay to repeat what you see. (You'll understand when you see that sketch.) We also have At Last the 1948 Show (the other half of Monty Python's early work), and that one is a bit darker in humor, so I'd bump up the age to maybe 9-10 on that one. *anj*
Thanks Jenny. The reviews are pretty much mixed. It looks like it'll be okay for them. We'll preview a couple of episodes to get a feel for it. Could be fun just to see what kinds of things they experimented with prior to the genius of MPFC. ;)
