Parker Martin
We use our dining room as a homeschool room, and I would like to start having people over to dinner more often and hosting groups at our house. To that end, I need to be able to hide our stuff. Anyone know of a place where I could buy lots of large bookcases with solid (not glass) doors? justLisa
I have the Besta units from IKEA. They are deeper than the Billy. And I have both solid and glass doors. Besta Solid door I have the 50" solid that covers more than half and then the glass for the top Glass door I have these all over my house! ETA: I also have the pull out frame with top that I keep my printer on, and the pull out thing with files for a file drawer. I have some in my entry way as well, and they even have a coat hanger insert. I like everything behind doors.
OnTheBrink
You can get solid doors for Ikea's Billy bookcases.
Parker Martin
Thanks! Ouch on the shipping! Maybe I'll have to plan a weekend trip to the nearest city that has an Ikea in it.

Most definitely worth the trip! IMHO, Ikea is better than Disneyland! Take a vehicle larger than what you think you'll be bringing home. Because you'll be bringing home more than you think! ;)
