woolybear
I was going to sit down today and plan out some of our history for next year. Before reinventing the wheel, does anyone know of any schedule or plans where someone has put these two together? I know it sounds like a bit much, but I think it will be fine. There are some books used by both programs. There are some I won't use. And I don't feel the need to finish this in one year. So, I'm just wondering if it's already been done. Anyone? Thank you. melmichigan
Do you have the list of SL books by TOG weeks? It on the TOG LooseThreads Yahoo group. That is what I use as a starting point.

Can you tell me where I can find it on Loose Threads? I checked the files section, but didn't see it. I do have the SL guide, so I can figure out what is used by what week. Thanks. melmichigan
Well my week just got a little longer. :glare: The list stops after Y3, although that is already into Core E from the color tabs on some of the books we have been using. melmichigan
We have already used the following from Core 4 in Y3: By the Great Horn Spoon Freedom Train Caddie Woodlawn The Monitor and the Merrimac Across Five Aprils A Photobiography of Abraham Lincoln The Perilous Road Shades of Gray Sing Down the Moon Moccasin Trail Thomas Edison The Great Turkey Walk Simone Bolivar (out of order) For the Start of our year, Y3U4 we will use: The Great Wheel Shoes for Everyone The Terrible Wave George Washington Carver Bully for You Teddy Roosevelt My twins still have 2 readers left from where we stopped so they will start with those first. Our readers are sometimes behind where we our in history by my choice. If you are going to stick to just what goes with Y4 history you have already cut things down by quite a bit. Almost all of the rest fit into Y4U1-U2. Edited August 13, 2012 by melmichigan

Rules of the Road (I leave with Core 100) Edited August 13, 2012 by melmichigan
AngelBee
Thanks! I own SL Core 3 and Core 4. We use TOG so this is very helpful! :)
melmichigan
When I get time I will add the others to the lists. There are one or two from earlier cores that I set aside at the time, and the few that are left that would fit into the second half of Y4. Also to note, my lists won't include any of the X books from the old catalogs, you'd need to add those yourself.
woolybear
Thank you! We're planning to start around the turn of the century. Ds wants modern. He's done with the Civil War, etc. in his mind. Lol.
