My youngest (23 months) just moved to a toddler bed not long ago and we've been having a terrible time getting him to go to bed at night (and stay in bed) so being friday night and me wanting an earlier break I put up the pack and play in our bedroom and laid him down in there. I was just checking on 2 of the other kids and was all pleased with myself at this fabulous idea when I stopped in the hallway because I heard music playing from my bedroom. Yep, he can now crawl out of the pack & play too. :glare: He was rocking out on our bed listening to Journey on the radio and SO VERY pleased with himself. I think this is the only smiley that truly reflects my thoughts :ack2:

Too funny!

My dh took me to a U2 concert when I was pregnant with our youngest ds and I tell you what...EVERY time that boy hears music he starts swaying, jumping or bobbing his head. Very funny from a wobbly 14-month-old. :) I can see him doing something very similar in the future!

My dd and your son are very much alike. I played Journey in the car on the way home from work daily when I was pregnant. When I brought my dd home from the hospital, I played lullabies at night to get her to sleep. She just cried through the music. Finally after about two weeks I had had enough. I figured that if she was going to cry anyway, she could cry to something I enjoyed listening to. I put Journey on at bedtime and she fell asleep within 20 seconds. She had heard that music every day in the womb. Your son has good taste. Oh, my daughter still loves Journey. She is 15 1/2 now!
