Raising Little Shoots
I ran a search, but didn't find anything  has anyone used this? If so, please may I ask your thoughts?
besroma
I ran a search, but didn't find anything  has anyone used this? If so, please may I ask your thoughts? I haven't used it, but many on here love it. I will try to find some threads for you. I have difficulty searching for abbreviations and acronyms. besroma
Here is a good one: http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/showthread.php?t=324737&highlight=kiss Try searching for KISS without the periods. You will probably also get some replies to your post, but will be able to get started with this thread.
edeemarie
We just started using it about a month ago and my son is doing really well with it! Basically everyone starts in level 1 and the grade levels are just meant to be literature appropriate to that grade. So for my 3rd grader, we are using grade 3 level 1. After level 1 is done you move on to level 2 at the correct grade level. We use it on the iPad, but you can just print it off. It does take a little time to wrap your head around the website, but it is really worth it in the end! Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will try to answer them. zoo_keeper
We also started with Level 1 Grade 2 almost a month ago. The girls have had previous grammar instruction, so they didn't enter blindly. So far we like it.
boscopup
We've been using it since last Christmas. Grade 3, level 1. We'd previously done half of FLL3. My son loves it, since it actually challenges him, and it doesn't require him to go back and learn what a noun is at the beginning of each year. :) I recommend going through the exercises yourself first, so you know how it works. I didn't finish level 1, but I went through most of it. We're almost done with level 1.2 and just use it a couple times a week right now. We use KISS on my Android tablet, with the ezPDF app. IPad has similar apps that let you mark up a pdf. You can also print it, and it's not that bad. You can print in black and white.
