Guest lauren_05
There are different education programs and calendars for different schools. Manual High School started early this year for a new addition to their program where they are including off-campus activities to enrich the students' learning. Do you think this is good or it would just waste the children's time?
marbel
ETA: On second thought, given where the link leads, I'm thinking this is spam. Does this cross the line, needing to be reported? The article doesn't say anything about what the activities are. No way to tell if they would be valuable or not. But, my homeschool kids get a lot of value out of some field trips we take (National Constitution Center here in Philadelphia) and not much out of others (yet another trip to the zoo). So, it depends on what the activities are, and how invested the kids are in them. Just like at home. ;) Edited August 9, 2012 by marbel
