I intended to do LiveMocha with my 6th grader since her friend is doing RS and they want to communicate together.

Should I consider SOS Spanish or save that for later?

Thank you!

My oldest ds used SOS Spanish and did very well with it. However, it is a pretty rigorous high school level course, and I'm not sure it would be a good fit for younger children, depending on their aptitude and their ability to work independently on the computer.

My 3 kids are using SOS this year. My dd7 and dd5 are using them with me...but the elementary program. It seems to be going fine.

My 7th grader is using the high school level...and it is very easy to follow along with. He likes it a lot. He does it all on his own with no problems.

There are 3 different levels of SOS Spanish instruction.

Elementary

Secondary (grades 7 to 12): This is powerglide re-invented on SOS; it is not the one commonly referred to on the high school board.

Spanish I and II: These are the courses my ds used and what most TWTM'ers are referring to when discussing SOS Spanish.
