Miss Peregrine
Dd got text a couple of weeks ago asking if she and DS would be available on a certain day for a birthday party. This was sent from the birthday girl herself. Last week an invitation was put up on Facebook by birthday girl's sister. DS is not on the list. WWYD? Dd asked DS if he was available when she first it the text do he knows about the party and the FB list that he is not on. We thought about asking their frienD( or her sister) but no one can come up with wording that doesn't sound. . . I don't know.
MollyAnn
I would just casually say "Hey...I saw your FB invite and it reminded my brother and I about your party...can't wait! Just double checking to make sure the invitation you extended to him in that text last week is still good?" :iagree:
MomatHWTK
"I got the party invitation but I needed to know if [brother] was invited, because when you first mentioned it to me last week you mentioned him. Thanks" Edited August 8, 2012 by MomatHWTK
Mothersweets
Gosh, did you read OpenMinded's thread about the birthday invite gone awry? Could something like that have happened?
