Stayseeliz Posted August 6, 2012 Author Share Posted August 6, 2012 Our extra curriculars are well thought out and really agonized over to benefit the kids in the best way possible. I group them together to keep us from being out of house too much but I really feel like the are something the kids need to be involved in. They do not affect our church attendance but they do make it harder to serve at church right now. I think a lot of my issue is the fact that the most area that needs the volunteers the most is the children's department and I am NOT a kid person. Add to that the fact that I am with my kids ALL THE TIME and I just have a hard time with teaching in the children's department. I would love to serve as a greeter, etc but we have a 16mo who has to be watched constantly and church is 35 minutes away so taking two cars is not an option.
