Mom2OandE
I picked up Grammarland and I printed out all of the worksheets that are available online. My question is when to do it. DD will be doing KISS this year and DS will be doing English for the Thoughtful Child. Should I do it towards the end of our year as a fun wrap up for dd and a heavier intro to grammar for ds or should I do it at the start of our school year. Just trying to figure out where it may best fit. Thanks.
zoo_keeper
We just started yesterday! The girls have done MCT's Island level and are on GWG1 & GWG3, respectively. We're also doing Kiss Level 1 Grade 2 and Killgallon Story Grammar. IMO, Grammarland so far has been super easy. In 3 chapters they've discussed what a noun is, common vs. proper nouns, capitalization of proper nouns, articles (a/an/the), and pronouns. We did the exercises orally. I would flip through it yourself, but if your children have had any grammar at all it should pretty much be a fun review.
nansk
I would do it now, as a precursor to KISS grammar.
