Sharilynn29
We have plenty of books, texts, etc. I'm looking for experiments, crafts, just plain fun stuff like making play dough. My daughter is 8yo.
MomatHWTK
I get my DD about a ream of cardstock paper each month and she has a huge collection of Sharpies markers. (Sharpies will bleed through regular paper). She LOVES to draw. Sometimes she draws what we are studying, sometimes it's her own creation. Even when not using Sharpies, the cardstock gives a better surface for drawing so I go ahead and make the "investment." My middle DS loves to work with clay. My oldest likes to create images using a Paint-like program. The 2 y.o. and middle son love to work with magnets- magnetic shapes especially. DD and middle DS have taken to making folded paper crafts lately. Pretend play is still a hit with my youngers as well. (i.e. running a store or a library)
