anmom
It would do our family some good to keep away from the grocery store for a while as far as budget goes. (Milk would be our only must) it is a frusterating feeling to have a full freezers and still think there is nothing to eat! So, I thought it would be fun to list some of your favorite "pantry meals"! JoLuRu
Pasta with lentils and tomato sauce. Brown rice, black beans, corn, and salsa. Pasta with sardines and 3 bean salad. (Sounds weird but is really tasty!) Baked potatoes with chili.

Momma4Boys
Mac & Cheese with Chili or black beans (makes like a chili mac) cheesy chips, canned refried beans and salsa (just tortilla chips with melted cheddar cheese) soup made from all kinds of canned veggies, chicken or beef stock & beans - just throw it all in - liquid & all rice & beans (flavored with spices you have on hand) ramen noodles cooked with a raw egg added to the water while boiling (a kids favorite) we live in Texas so we always have refried beans, salsa & tortilla chips at our house ;) HTH
