Love2Smile Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 For any or all subjects? We have decided to go all textbook this year and im wondering Quote
TracyR Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Yes. I have used it . I do like it . Its not classical homeschooling . One draw back is that its more of a fill in the blank kind of curriculum. NOt that that is bad . It worked great for my oldest daughter actually . But some parents want more of a curriuclum that makes the child think outside of the box . I did like it when I used it . I would catch my daughter ,6yrs old at the time, up early in the morning doing school work by herself , and the best part was she loved it . I think its a great curriculum if you don't have the time to really get into the other curriculua out there . You can easily supplement it with great reading books too :>) Quote
Laura Corin Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 A friend found it to be a really good curriculum until they got to middle school. Then it wasn't teaching the kind of thinking/writing skills that she felt her children needed. Laura Quote
