Momof3littles
I'm working on some lesson plans and jotting down some notes. I am looking at the poem on p 63 in MoH, which is The Puddle and the Chicken by Michael Clay Thompson. I have a few questions with respect to the poem I'm looking through. I apparently need to brush up on my poetry! I found and labeled lots of examples of internal rhyme. "Subtle" and "double" are near rhyme used as end rhyme, I assume. "Puddle" and "mud"-I assume this can be labeled as internal rhyme. Is this also near rhyme? Suddenly and free-this is just normal end rhyme?
