sted Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 If one feels they understand SWB philosophy already on beginning writing can one purchase and use the Workbooks first to get started and wait to buy the textbook later or do they intermingle so to speak? Also, is Workbook 1 for "grade 1" or level 1 and Workbook 2 for level 2 or are they only one year's worth of work? Anyone know? Thanks, Shannon Quote
KIN Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Workbook 1 is for grade 1. I think you could use just the workbooks, but the textbook is very nice to have to refer to things. Quote

Thanks, Shannon The numbers roughly correspond to grades, but I believe the Workbooks were meant to be used according to the student's skill level (not so much his grade level). The main text, WWE, contains evaluations at four different skill levels to determine where to place your student. HTH! Quote
StephanieF Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I'm looking for someone who has already seen WWE workbook 1 (I can't get it until Aug in the UK) so that I can plan how long a lesson should take. Also for FLL, how long would you spend in 1st grade on a lesson? Thanks Stephanie Quote
