Girl Power
Has anyone used these videos? http://www.ck12.org/browse/algebra/ Are these concepts which are covered in a standard Algebra I and Algebra II course? Dd is 3/4 done with Saxon Alg I and I'm trying to decide where to start. Also, are there any other free Algebra resources out there? Tx! dbmamaz
I dont think that links to videos? ck12 flexbooks are open source free textbooks, and i've heard good things about them, but they kept crashing on my pc so i didnt pursue them. My library had a lot of algebra books, and there is khan academy and purplemath, off the top of my head.
xixstar
I used an online algebra course that was free for my teen. We just needed to buy the book (used on amazon). Posting now to remind me to look it up when I am back at my computer.
MomatHWTK
I use the companion site videos from Prentiss Hill along with an older Pre-Alg textbook I purchased online. If you belong to HSBC you can get access to the Hot Math videos using Smart Points or for $15.
