AStableBeginning
How many times did your daughter test? We have another opportunity to test this coming weekend but I am trying to figure out if it is worth our while to do so again. Thanks! Georgiana Daniels
Our daughter tested only once, and I don't think we could afford to pay for coaches to go again since the tests are out of town. This was our gym's first year training TOPs kids, so it was a long-shot, anyways. From what I gather, our girls were right in the middle of the pack, so next year we might have a legitimate chance :) That said, if this is your daughter's last year, nothing wrong with testing again! AStableBeginning
Thanks for the response! I have already prayed about it so i am going to sleep on it and see how practice goes tomorrow morning. The gymnast in question is 9yrs old, so she has one more year of eligibility. Wih the new rules it is hard to gage what they are looking for. She has all the Skills on the apparatus needed just needs to boost the strength more. Thanks again for your input! Georgiana Daniels
LOL, my dd was the opposite--she had almost all of her abilities, and it was skills where she had an issue (especially bars.) Next year should be great!
