plath Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 We were there last summer, and briefly visited a few months ago but stayed in St. Ignace this year (across the bridge). Ottakee Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 We stayed at the Mackinaw Beach and Bay in June. One thing I liked is that each room is a suite. The room you enter has a queen size bed and a pull out queen size sofa sleeper. Then in the middle is the bathroom and across from that is the mini fridge and microwavel. the other side of that is a "bedroom" (no door) with a King size bed, a 2nd TV and a balcony overlooking the water. They have a pool that is not fancy but clean. There is free breakfast that is OK. Nothing spectacular but decent. I think the biggest thing is that we went with 4 teens and dh and I so having the extra space in the huge room with our own semi private area was nice.
