I am heading down for a long weekend sans kids! Two homeschooling women I know from a local church/ballet/soccer invited me because three Disney fans are better than two and my husband actually said Yes! He is taking a few days off from work and is cheerfully giving me the money and I can hardly believe it - considering we just had a family trip to WDW in April.

We are leaving early tomorrow and it will be my first road trip in years:001_huh:...I hope that I am not too old for this!

Two days at the MK and 1 day at Epcot!

Wow - I can hardly believe this is happening! I rarely leave my family and never for this long...I feel a little guilty but mostly excited.

How Fun!!

I am going in September with three of my friends from high school days. One of them has a time share available. So we are going to go to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.

Have a great time!

PS Where are you staying?

Brenda - where are you staying? How long will you be there? We'll be there at POR from Sept 15 - 20! This is our last-chance-to-go-with-free-dining-before-we-have-to-pay-for-the-2-yo-and-stay-at-a-more-expensive-hotel-in-a-suite-because-we're-a-family-of-6 trip!!

We'll be there the following weekend. I don't really know where we are staying :tongue_smilie: But I do believe its off-site. I tihnk I would have remembered if it was one of Disney's vacation clubs.

We took one of those "before the baby turns three" trips. It was days before his birthday and he's a big kid anyway - I was so worried that they wouldn't believe he was two and we'd lose our reservations. But we are still a family of five - so there's always POR when we go back. We stayed threre once as well and I really liked it. Enjoy your trip!
