momofkhm
have you had issues with the books or getting them back on time or anything? I'm looking into renting for the first time and just wondering if there are any pitfalls. Thanks!
AngieW in Texas
UT Dallas has rental available on almost everything. My dd rented everything she could except for textbooks in her major (animation), because she wanted to keep those books. She didn't have any problems with it. My middle dd rented her English textbooks for fall and spring semester at the cc. She could have rented her Spanish textbook, but she needed it for two semesters, so she just bought it used. She didn't have any problems with the rental process either. One thing that my oldest's school did that I wish the cc did is that they put a big orange rental sticker on the books that were rented. It made remembering which books were rented really easy for her.
Amy in TX
We rented a Government textbook from Barnes & Noble last semester. The process was pretty painless. We placed the order online, the book came in a week or so. A couple of weeks before the return date, B&N sent a reminder email and return mailing label, and we had to take the book to the nearest UPS store to ship it back.
